About the service

GPZ has amassed extensive experience over the decades in heavy civil engineering, industrial and infrastructure projects, ranging from simple plant foundations to complex civil works for power stations, desalination plants, sewage treatment plants, bridge rehabilitation works, electricity distribution, and industrial facilities for the aluminium and oil sectors. Our in-house capacity to fabricate and erect all types of structural steel and light metalwork, and to cut and bend steel reinforcement, provides an enhanced capability to undertake a wide range of civil and industrial works.

GPZ has successfully executed specialist engineering works including rock anchorages, stabilisation works, construction of high in situ concrete walls to very exacting tolerances for the metal processing industry, deep excavations, dewatering and water retaining sheet piling. We have worked alongside internationally known specialists and EPC contractors such as Samsung Engineering, Siemens AG Power Generation, Bechtel, Sidem, Hyundai Heavy Industries, and Sumitomo Corporation. Our portfolio includes key projects in Bahrain’s infrastructure development, such as the Muharraq STP & DGS Conveyance System, Al Dur IWPP, Al Hidd IWPP Desalination Plant, El Ezzel Power Plant, and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) Line 4 and Line 5 Expansions.
